Two fans help make Scythe Fuma 3 Cool – PC Perspective

A compact tower cooler for most situations

It’s a fact that over the years processors have gotten hotter, which means CPU coolers have gotten bigger. Not every case can handle a kilo of metal nearly 170mm high. The Scythe Fuma 3 still weighs over a kilo, but is a more modest 154mm tall. It’s a dual-tower design with two Scythe Kaze Flex II 120 Slim PWM fans to push air through the heatsink.

Performance on both AMD and Intel was decent, not chart-topping, but certainly capable of taming a reasonable amount of heat. Noise pressure was a bit higher than expected from low-revving fans, but topped out at 51dBa. The two really nice features of the Fuma 3 are its complete and utter lack of RGB and its $55 price tag.
