Like its Ryzen 9 desktop counterpart, this X3D mobile processor only offers 3D V-cache on one of the two Zen 4 CCDs, but the optimization won’t be up to the end user, as it will apparently come preconfigured on a gaming laptop.

AMD has given this Ryzen 9 7945HX3D part a “55+W” TDP, but highlights the benefits of 3D V-cache in a reduced-power application, claiming greater gains at 40W than even at 70W (see slide below) .
