It has a big voice for such a tiny device
The GEEKCOM Mini IT13 measures just 50 x 115 x 110 mm (2 x 4.5 x 4″) and packs a Raptor Lake Core i9-13900H and a 2TB NVMe SSD. Surprisingly, it uses 2 x 16GB DDR4-3200 instead of DDR5, which the platform supports. This could have been a thermal decision as opposed to a cost decision as going to DDR5 wouldn’t significantly increase the ~$900 price. On the plus side, it has two USB4 TB 40Gbps ports, as well as three USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports and one USB 2.0 port. Those USB ports are a better choice for video than any of the HDMI 2.0 ports, but the 2.5 GbE port is nothing to scoff at.
The 3D testing guru showed that the Mini IT31 can handle the heat generated by the i9-13900H, which is no mean feat when under load. See all the details here.
