Is MSI MEG X670E ACE Worth $700?  – PC perspective

Graphics card prices may make most of the headlines, but if you’ve priced out a new system build, you may well have noticed that motherboard prices have risen at least as much, if not more. The MSI MEG X670E ACE is an example of this, retails for $728 on Amazon at the time of writing. That might seem pretty high, but it represents the higher end of the middle of the pack, after all The MSI X670E GODLIKE will run you $1300!

This investment gives you a board with a compact electrical system, a Duet Rail 22 + 2 + 1 power supply system and a 90A power stage, all of which have their own heatsinks. The storage system includes six SATA 6 Gb/s slots and four PCIe 5.0 M2 slots that hold up to 2280 size M2 devices, one of which is complemented by a WiFi 6 card. In addition to WiFi, you also get 10G LAN thanks to Marvell’s NIC AQC113CS-B1-C.

FPS was impressed with the performance, except for the fact that Windows 11 does not have a driver for the NIC during installation, and of course, this price. See it in detail here.
