Super News for Twitch Streamers too

NVIDIA’s new cards are getting most of the attention, but there were a few other announcements along with the hardware. For those streaming on Twitch with NVIDIA GPUs, the ability to locally encode your stream is a rather impressive new feature. Instead of relying on Twitch to properly handle the resolution and frame rate of your stream, NVIDIA cards will soon be able to encode up to five simultaneous streams of different resolutions and frame rates and stream them live.

G-SYNC Pulsar is an upgrade to current variable refresh rate technology to prepare for the next generation of displays. The new standard introduces variable frequency strobing that will be able to handle refresh rates up to 1000Hz. There has been plenty of talk about artificial intelligence, and one of the revelations that will be of interest to gamers is NVIDIA ACE. This could link NPCs to LLMs, allowing you to actually talk to NPCs instead of choosing from set dialogue options. If implemented correctly, it could make RPGs much more interesting and possibly weirder.
