Well, Dragon Age: Dreadwolf — the BioWare game that’s been developed, scrapped, redeveloped, maybe scrapped again, and then experimented with for about half a decade — could finally be released before the year’s release. This is according to the in-the-know Mess game host Jeff Grubb (via Eurogamer), who says “[Dreadwolf] it’s coming out this year, last I heard.” And he continues: “They’re pretty sure about it. It doesn’t mean it’s a guarantee – it could slip – but right now, internally, they’re expecting to release it later this year.”
Let’s hope so, eh? Again, the new Dragon Age failed to appear in the so many industry events in recent years that we have become accustomed to simply ignoring its existence. But last year, BioWare said the game would be properly revealed in the summer of 2024. Assuming everything lines up, including this release rumor, that probably means we’re getting a date at Summer Games Fest or something.
