You can’t win them all

TweakTown loves KLEVV, a subsidiary of SK Hynix and Essencore, having tested a number of memory kits over the years and almost always been impressed. In previous kits it was obvious that KLEVV used easily recognized, premium components, but it’s hard to tell what the KLEVV CRAS V RGB DDR5-8000 32GB kit contains. The marking on the ICs indicates the frequency and times, but not much else, so TweakTown can’t say for sure what was used.

The results show that the places may not be as impressive as they were historically. Benchmarks show decent performance, though not top of the line, but TT was surprised to find that there are no overclocking capabilities at all. Tried a few ways but KLEVV CRAS V RGB DDR5-8000 won’t beat stock. When you combine that with the price of this 32GB kit, which is similar to a 64GB kit at the same frequency, it’s a hard sell.

Take a look at the details, not to mention the minor RGB issues, before adding this kit to your cart.
